“I often had to use a knee brace to help me along. Actually, I began to wonder just how long I would be able to hold on to my job before my knees gave out. Mrs. J.L., age 65, of Michigan experienced a sudden onset of arthritic symptoms in her hands, shoulders, and hips. In less than a year her fingers became gnarled and twisted out of shape.
